Climate change has become a widely accepted fact around the world today as temperatures and sea levels continue to rise. The impacts of climate change on the planet will undoubtedly affect populations around the world causing not only the displacement of populations but also a variety of health risks. Ranging from diseases of impoverished populations as well as the emergencies that arise from extreme weather events that cause other health outbreaks to occur. There are obvious health risks associated with drought or floods, which leads to malnutrition, as well as the disproportionate risks for disease outbreaks in developing countries. However, there are still many ways in which climate change can cause less obvious public health challenges that ought to be public knowledge.
